Roland DGA found itself in a unique position after selling several UV devices to the cannabis industry despite not actively marketing to that sector. So, Roland DGA’s marketing, creative, and product management put our heads together to try and figure out how to get these wins.
We quickly saw a familiar story within dealer channels, cannabis industry people who bought Roland UV printers over our competitors were repeatedly drawn to a beer bottle label sample we created earlier, they loved the expanded red and orange gamut of Roland UV devices, and they were looking for ideas to apply their branded products. So we pitched the creation of brand for Roland to use on suite of samples. Something that looked like what people liked, showed off our gamut, and showed potential clients a big picture view of what can be done. Hestia became what we called a hero image for Roland DGA in the cannabis industry.
